Following the shows huge success at the shed over Christmas the show was rewarded a west-end transfer. Very excited for everyone involved and its a great opportunity to go see it again. Now showing at the New London Theatre:

I sculpted and made the puppet lead elephant head working with puppet designer Toby Olie.

I am very excited to announce that I am busy working on my next puppet project at the National theatre, Elephantom. For children and grown-ups of all ages, the story of one little girl and her larger-than-life friend is brought to life with extraordinary puppetry and theatrical ingenuity.

Tickets are now available on the National's website here:

More from our Cow puppet build

Cow puppet construction

Here she is, well it's a great start anyways. So far we've put together the basic frame of our cow puppet. You should be able to notice the revolving waist mech, this will have bungy spanning the two halves to help spring the bum end of the cow back to the central position. The positioning of the udders means they sway when the rear it moved, adding to the illusion of the cow walking. This puppet will be puppeteerd by two people so it won't be having legs as such. More to follow

Cow puppet build

So we've got a few weeks gap before our next project kicks off at the National, 'Elephantom'. To fill it we'll be making a cow puppet and a extra large giant head/face puppet. Lots to do in a short amount of time, same old story! Here's some pics so far
